Discover the wonderful world of American artist Everett Shinn!

Typically only found in museums, Shinn’s Rococo Revival work can be experienced at Planting Fields, where the Coe family commissioned the artist to create works specifically for their home.

Learn the story behind the decorative panels in Mai Coe’s Dressing Room, including their journey back to Planting Fields, and enjoy an exclusive viewing of the Tea House, where guests will learn about the recent restoration of its interior and building.

Led by members of the Planting Fields Foundation Collections team, this special First Fridays experience offers a behind-the-scenes look at some of the most treasured works of art and historic spaces at Planting Fields, as well as the stories that bring them to life!
