Not all dangers to birds come with wings and claws. In this second session of Wings 2 Roots, explorers ages 5–12 will investigate two surprising threats to bird habitats: invasive plants that crowd out the species birds depend on, and invisible pollutants that quietly harm the food and water birds rely on. We'll explore the arboretum grounds to spot these threats up close, compare wild spaces side by side, and add to our field journals. The best part? Every problem we discover is one that people like us are already helping to solve.
